Hartwells has been the village Ironmongers since 1805, and although the Hartwell family are no longer involved, the shop is still quite old-fashioned and sells an unusual mixture of ironmongery, kitchenware, D.I.Y. items and gifts. Our cycle hire business is well established, and we have a fleet of over 30 mountain bikes of all sizes and some touring cycles. We have three cycles with child seats and one covered "tag-along". Sorry! but we do not have any tandems. All our suggested routes are easy to follow and avoid major roads. We keep a range of basic spares, and carry out minor repairs. We always have a good selection of second hand bicycles for sale. We offer a 'Half Day Tour' (Three hours) which is a circular route passing through several typical Cotswold villages. Alternatively, you may hire a bike for a full day (9am - 5.30pm) to see much more of the area, or hire a bike for a longer period with good discounts.
